Muslim Kids TV is the first Islamic internet TV for children.
Be the best you can be on Muslim Kids TV.

MuslimKids.TV is a built-in Canadian digital entertainment platform.

Recognized internationally as the largest provider of values-based English-language entertainment for Muslim families. Muslim Kids TV offers premium content, best-in-class service, and the safest possible digital environment for children around the world.

It is dubbed the "Netflix" for Muslim children providing thousands of entertaining and educational episodes to watch, featuring interactive games, a mini-social network, ebooks, and kid-friendly Quranic studies. By spreading the superpowers of kindness, inclusiveness, and hope through quality content, Muslim Kids TV strategically counters the harm caused by the negative messages about certain religions and ethnic groups.

How it started

Muslim Kids TV was founded by Milo Productions Inc. and the husband and wife creative team, Michael Milo and Flordeliza Dayrit when they realized as parents that there was a desperate lack of TV shows and movies that would strengthen their young children’s love of the Muslim faith and culture. It became their mission to create healthy alternatives for families around the world who seek moral values and traditional cultural content for their children.

Meet the Founders

Michael Milo

Michael Milo has 30 years of experience in educational media, television, marketing, and communications. His portfolio includes hundreds of corporate videos, documentaries, feature films, and numerous children’s television series.

In 2005, Milo was Director of Television Programming for Huda TV, (Cairo and Riyadh) where he was responsible for one hundred staff and contract production personnel. During his tenure at the channel quality and quantity of programming improved significantly. Huda TV became recognized as one of the top 100 TV channels in the region.

In 2010, Milo received an MBA from the University of Saskatchewan with a focus on entrepreneurship and the commercialization of technology.
Milo began full-time work on Milo Productions Inc. and launched the Muslim Kids TV platform in 2016.

Flordeliza Dayrit

Flordeliza Dayrit emigrated to Canada from the Philippines when she was 15 years old. She was not born a Muslim but became one by choice. Driven by a burning desire to provide wholesome alternatives— not just for their children—but for all children worldwide, Muslim Kids TV was born.

As a media artist and writer, her artwork engages children instantly through simple, catchy tunes, clever lyrics; exciting stories, and narratives. Her songs and stories provide kids with a positive self-image in a world.

MUSLIM KIDS TV CHILD SAFETY POLICY

Thank you for visiting Muslim Kids TV. Muslim Kids TV offers educational entertainment for your children through “Websites” and “Apps”, collectively “Platform”.

Privacy Principles

Muslim Kids TV understands that you have entrusted us to provide safe, entertaining and educational content for your child. We take this trust seriously and recognize the importance of privacy concerns especially in the digital environment.

With this in mind, we have adopted this Child Safety Policy and our Privacy Policy for our Websites and Apps. On our Platform, we collect personal information in two forms. One form is information that we expressly request you to provide in connection with certain activities. The second form is anonymous information that we automatically collect from your computer, phone or other device.

Our Privacy Policy is based on the following principles:

Especially for children under 13

  1. You are free to choose whether or not to engage in any activity on our Platforms that involves your submission of personal information, such as your name, email address, or other information that can be used to identify or contact an individual, whether online or offline. We will ask you for such information expressly. Most of the activities on our Platforms do not require you to submit any personal information.
  2. When we ask you to submit personal information, we will explain in the sign-up or collection process how we will use the information (such as requesting an email address when you sign up for a newsletter). We will use the information only as we have stated, other than in Special Circumstances which are described below (such as in relation to law enforcement or a business transfer).
  3. We use the anonymous information that is automatically collected from your device, such as a computer’s Internet Protocol address, a mobile device identifier, operating system, or general location such as zip code, to support internal operations so that we can understand and monitor the usage of our Platforms and improve the performance of the Platforms.
  4. There is no behavioral advertising on our Platforms which means that you will not see any advertising that is targeted to you based on your combined activity on our Platforms and your activity on other sites and apps.
  5. Third parties that we use to assist with the Platforms are required to follow this Privacy Policy.
  6. Our collection of personal information on Platforms that are directed to children under 13 (“Children’s Platforms”) is intended to follow the principles of the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”), a U.S. law designed to protect the online privacy of children under the age of 13.
  7. We will obtain parental consent before asking for personal information on our Children’s Platforms, unless the request for information falls within an exception that would be permitted under COPPA.
  8. We do not make personal information collected from children publicly available nor do we enable children to do so on our Platforms. We will not condition a child’s participation in any activity or service on the disclosure of more personal information than is reasonably necessary to participate in an activity.
  9. Parents may contact us (at [email protected]) to review, update or delete any of their children’s personal information that we may have collected and to elect for us not to collect any additional personal information from their children.
  10. We will update this Privacy Policy from time to time by posting the updated Privacy Policy online. We will not change how we handle previously collected information without providing notice and obtaining parental consent where necessary.

The following describes our Privacy Policy as it relates to certain specific activities.

Information we request on our childrenʼs platforms

We will obtain parental consent before asking for personal information on our Childrenʼs Platforms, unless the request for information falls within an exception that would be permitted under COPPA. We will explain how we will use the information and use it only for that purpose. Here are examples of personal information that we request on our Childrenʼs Platforms:

  • Username, age, gender content preferences.

Parents are requested to provide this information so that their child may have a unique account. The unique account allows the child to enjoy recommended content based upon these selections. The child’s activity may be recorded on the site to recommend content and other engagement activities.

  • User Generated Content.

Children are given the opportunity to post comments, images and audio recordings. All such posts are moderated by a person before they are approved for release to other users of the Platform.

Information we collect automatically

We use the anonymous information that is automatically collected to support the internal operations of the Platforms. Some of this information is collected through third-party analytics tools. Internal operations include the following:

  • to monitor metrics such as total number of visitors and traffic;
  • to understand which activities and services are most popular;
  • to understand the pages where visitors enter our Sites and the pages viewed;
  • to reduce the repetition in the promotional messages that users see on our Platforms;
  • to understand generally the location of our users (e.g., zip code information);
  • to recognize the browsers used to visit our Sites, so that the content is adapted for the relevant browser; and
  • to diagnose and fix technology problems
  • to provide advertisements to other parents.

We do link this automatically-collected data to Personal Information such as such as username, email address for the purpose of improving recommended content.

When you visit a Platform, we may use cookies and similar technologies like pixels and web beacons, to collect this anonymous information for the purpose of the internal operations of our Platforms. The buyer or transferee will be required to honor the commitments we have made in this Privacy Policy.
